PRECIOUS PROJECT

Precious  Project’s mission is to nurture, educate, and empower impoverished  youth in Tanzania so they can become the future leaders and productive  members of their nation. Their efforts meaningfully enhance equity,  economic self-sufficiency, and environmental sustainability. They  partner with the local community to provide a primary school, secondary  school, children’s home, an organic farm, and women's empowerment  groups. . Learn more.

Gift Levels:

1.$25 provides a Tanzanian student with two nutritious, protein rich meals a day for three weeks.

2.$50 toward STEAM education including laptops, tablets and creative learning materials.

Countless women and girls experience sexual violence every day in the Congo, a tragedy that is heightened by the ongoing conflict. But for more than 25 years, Panzi has not only mended survivors’ bodies and delivered their babies but also supported them as they reclaim their lives against all odds.

Gift levels:

1.  $25 ensures safe transportation to and from Panzi Hospital for one woman.

2.  $60 covers legal assistance and  critical post-care support to help a woman reclaim control over her future in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Plumpy’Nut is a life-saving peanut-based paste made from milk powder, peanuts, soy oil, sugar, and vitamins and minerals. Every week  Edesia produces 800 metric tons of Plumpy’Nut and other foods to help to prevent malnutrition. Every year they make up to 88 million pounds of life-saving food at the factory in Rhode Island – using peanuts from Georgia, milk from Wisconsin, soy from Iowa, and other commodities from 15 states. When they fight hunger abroad, they strengthen American jobs, American agriculture, and American security.

Gift levels:

1. $15 provides a child with a six months supply of Nutributter.

2. $50 provides Plumpy’Nut to save one child with severe malnutrition.

The mission is to provide excellent care for the rescued Grauer’s gorillas and work alongside Congolese communities to promote the conservation of wild gorillas and their habitat.  The vision is a healthy, stable population of wild Grauer’s gorillas in the Democratic Republic of Congo that is no longer threatened and is a source of pride for the Congolese people.

Gift levels:

1. $15 helps grow food for gorillas.

2. $50 provides care for one gorilla for a day in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Revived Soldiers Ukraine is a non profit organization dedicated to providing aid to the people of Ukraine so they may fulfill their fundamental rights and freedoms, including but not limited to – the right to obtain affordable medical care, freedom of belief, and freedom for a adequate standard of living. In partnership with the global community, RSU works to promote an awareness of human rights and freedoms while delivering humanitarian aid to those most in need.

Gift levels:

1. $25 toward providing prosthetic limbs for injured soldiers

2. $50 helps with expenses for families accompanying injured family members

Child Aid believes curious kids change the world. It transforms how reading and literacy are taught in Guatemala. They believe all children deserve access to a quality education and the opportunity to improve their lives, contribute to their communities and their world.

Gift Levels:

1. $30 purchases 6 books for an elementary school classroom in rural Guatemala 

2. $75 pays for a Child Aid Literacy Trainer to meet with a teacher in an elementary school

Working with Green Land Society for Health Development in Hebron and Sheba Beyond in Raman Gan, the program employs a multidisciplinary team of women healthcare professionals who are providing healthcare and preventive medicine education for women and children in six isolated communities in the Hebron region of Area C.

Gift levels

1. $35 will cover the cost of medications for one day of clinic work

2. $75 will cover the cost of one physician’s visit to a community
