GLOBAL CHARITIES

KIDSAVE UKRAINE

Since 2016 Kidsave has been deeply involved in reforming Ukraine’s overburdened child welfare system.  With over 100,000 children languishing in institutions , orphanages, and boarding schools across Ukraine, Kidsave stepped in to change the outcome for these kids.  Our ongoing programs are helping older orphans and children be reunited with family, adoptive families, or successfully transition into independent living.  Through our Family Mentoring Program, we help move children out of crowded institutions and back into families. In cases where children are true orphans or unable to return to biological parents, our team uses Family Visit Model to find new adoptive families for these deserving children.


$35 pays for food, medicine, and supplies for children in Ukraine.


$65 pays room and board for one child at Kidsave Miracle Center in Ukraine for one day.

ARMENIAN RELIEF SOCIETY

The Armenian Relief Society is a non-profit, non-sectarian, and non-governmental organization, a member of the United Nations with affiliate entities in 27 different countries serving the social, educational, health, and welfare efforts of the Armenian people throughout the world.


$20 will provide a sweater for a refugee child from Artsakh living in Armenia embroidered with “Artsakh is Ours” to remind them of their right to live in their ancestral home.


$50 will buy groceries for an Artsakh family of 4 for one week.

CONNECT AFRICA

Connect Africa Foundation creates a close connection between the donor and the recipient. Our directors work directly with the people of Uganda, creating a small, intimate community-based organization.  There are four aspects to their work. Sponsorship: In Uganda education is not free; starting with nursery school through university or vocational training, they help students through 15 years of education. Vocational: they have built a Vocational Institute where graduates acquire practical job skills enabling them to pursue successful careers. Community: they began the Foundations work in a cluster of 16 villages.  Now they have expanded to over 50 villages throughout Uganda. Loans: the mission to provide loans came about when elders expressed that they did not want to be beggars, we want income.


$15 provides reusable sanitary products


$40 provides a partial scholarship for Vocational Training

SPLASH

SPLASH cleans water for kids in schools, orphanages, hospitals, and shelters. Safe water is medicine: transformative and life changing. SPLASH is dedicated to providing clean water solutions at scale.  In addition to delivering clean water, it offers customized hygiene education services and fosters crucial relationships to address sanitation challenges.  Its ambitious goal is to achieve 100% coverage reaching every orphanage in China, every public school in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and every child-serving institution in Kolkata, India, among others


$25 supports one school drive to promote clean hands.


$60 pays for one year of maintenance of a school's water filtration system.

WOMEN FOR WOMEN

Women for Women helps lift a woman out of poverty.  They give a woman survivor of war the resources, support, and skills she needs to transform her life – and the lives of her family.  Support provides job training, business and life skills, access to opportunities and more.


$25 provides women disrupted with business skills training to start new lives and become economic providers.


$75 provides sewing machines for women survivors of war to start small home tailoring businesses.

SHELTER BOX

ShelterBox believes everyone deserves a place to call home.  Right now more than 100 million people around the world have lost their homes to disaster and conflict.  By providing emergency shelter, tools, and household supplies to displaced families after disaster, they enable families to begin to rebuild and recover, transforming despair into hope.


$25 provides Lumenaid solar light for 24 hours on a single charge useful for for work, education, family activities.


$85 provides a ShelterKit which includes a heavy duty tarp, hand tools, ropes, fasteners and hand tools to patch or cover a shelter for a family.  

LIFTING HANDS INTERNATIONAL

Lifting Hands provides aid to refugees, both at home and abroad, no politics, simply humanitarian help. They envision a world where compassion compels individuals, families, and communities to lift hands, helping refugees achieve “the good life” through stability and self sufficiency


$10 helps provide livestock to a refugee family for breeding and selling offspring for income.


$50 buys a food box containing three nutritious meals a day for one week for a refugee family of 4.

PROJECT ROZANNA

Project Rozanna employs a multidisciplinary team of women healthcare professionals who are providing access  to healthcare and preventative medicine education for women and children in six isolated communities in the Hebron region of Area C.  The program offers consistent and accurate diagnosis and timely care through the use of remote care devices for data collection, sharing and real time consultation with medical teams.  This enables access to diagnostic imaging and early  detection and treatment of various conditions.


$35 will cover the cost of medication distributed in one day at the clinic.


$75 will cover the cost of one physician's visit to the clinic.

HER FUTURE COALITION

Her Future Coalition provides education and a holistic support to combat sexual and gender based violence. They work to build bright, independent futures. Since 2004, Her Future has been creating powerful and positive change in the lives of women and girls.  They break the cycle of poverty and exploitation by providing education - and a full range of services that support education - to survivors and the most vulnerable girls in India and Nepal.


$25 will provide school supplies, bedding and a uniform for an at-risk girl moving into one of our dormatories.


$65 provides welcome kits for survivors or vulnerable girls at a rescue center in Kolkata, India.

SOWING OPPORTUNITIES GUATEMALA

Sowing Opportunities is building agricultural capacity, resources, and leadership in remote indigenous villages in Guatemala.  The indigenous in Guatemala have experienced violent persecution for hundreds of years.  It is important to preserve the indigenous people, to honor and assist them to prevent extinction.  The goals are to set up access for water for the villages, to set up a greenhouse farming project, and to teach about the benefits  of greenhouses for the nutritional well being of their families and the economic possibilities of selling the produce.


$20 buys the plastic for both ground cover and roofing for two green houses


$40 pays for two deliveries  a year of seedlings for two greenhouses.
